Sonder The Fitz Apartments Downtown St Paul

Super affordable stay. I loved that there was a full sized fridge. The room was cute and "check in" (which was all over the app, and really not like a check in, super easy) was convenient. The rooms were very cute and clean. Every staff member we met was nice! We'll stay here again and other sonder hotels too!

My wife and I stayed here while in town for a wedding. The location was convenient and near a relatively low-cost parking lot (by St. Paul standards), and the price of the room was also a little cheaper than other downtown hotels. All basic needs were provided as well as adequate cooking facilities. Free self-serve laundry also proved very helpful. The road noise was not excessive over the course of a week. We did experience difficulty with the air conditioning, which was simply too powerful, and it was weird to have vast amounts of under-utilized kitchen storage but no dresser.

Sonder The Fritz in St. Paul was amazing!! Location is central to everything, yet tucked away in a quiet little nook where it wasn't very noisy. Parking was easy and plentiful! The self check in and process is genius! The room was clean, modern and so comfortable! The bed was heavenly!! Kitchen had all needed supplies, and I loved the thoughtfulness of the environment. They even had laundry available at no extra charge AND provided the laundry pods. We will definitely stay here next time we visit St. Paul, and have already booked other cities at a Sonder!

Sonder the Fitz apartments suited our needs well. The rooms are very clean, staff are friendly. The location is decent and is within walking distance to a few great places. We were there during peak construction season so it was kind of dead around the area as a ton of streets were ripped up. Parking is either in the parkade across the street or the lot beside it (both pay for). I will say that the rooms/halls/building are not sound proof. I could hear the lady beside me hacking up a lung all morning, and the footsteps above me pretty clearly. All in all though it was a good stay.

The hotel room was super clean. Staff were very kind and helpful. I liked the option not to have my room cleaned every day, only if I need. I felt like being in a small studio apartment, where I could cook, relax, etc. Kitchen was very well equipped, and the bathroom was my favorite with the nice walk in shower. Bed was very comfortable. It was very simple to use the code or phone to get in to the hotel and my room. Grocery store is 4 min. walk, Ordway 10 min. St. Paul Cathedral is approx. 17. Perfect place to stay if you visit St. Paul, MN Also great value for your money. I would definitely stay again if I revisit St. Paul.

Everyone whines like it’s $500 a night!!! Noisy downtown like every downtown hotel. I had no visual ID. Easy as hell to get your room and code. No need to check in all done online. Good value for $89. Clothes not drying not great (didn’t use washer)but room is nice and clean.

Nice hotel once you actually get to the room. Very nice room plenty of amenities (in the room). During my stay half of the roads were blocked off and when you arrive you realize the hotel doesn’t have parking so you have to pay 10$ a night for parking in a janky lot that might or might not keep your car safe. The elevators are pretty dirty but that’s not really a big deal to me at least. I loved the room itself. Nice and spacious with basically an entire kitchen. My view would be really nice if the roads weren’t torn apart and having construction done at 7 am. No water fountains anywhere except a little tap down in the lobby.

This place was great to stay at and felt more like a studio apartment than hotel room. My room had a two eye stove top, a full size fridge, a microwave, and a full size coffee maker. The room had necessary equipment to cook your own meals and the bed was comfortable. My only issue is that it surrounded by road work which is why it was rated 3 stars for location. It was loud in the morning and difficult to navigate around by car. Once they finish working on the road, the location is actually 5 stars.
